Seasoned Firewood Logs

Sussex Timber Co sell seasoned hardwood logs that are billeted and dried under cover. Billeting is a technique used throughout much of Europe where the logs are split into lengths which are then stacked to season. This enables the drying process to be as quick and efficient as possible, allowing the wood to get much dryer without the need to be kiln dried.

We select Ash, Oak, Beech, Maple, Birch, Cherry and other hardwoods that we cut to length for your open hearth or log burner.

When you buy our quality English seasoned hardwood logs for firewood, we can deliver to your door, free of charge within a 10 mile driving distance of our yard near Steyning.
