OAK – The English Oak we use has a unique character and will last for the longest of all our cladding. It naturally turns a silvery colour when left untreated.
LARCH – The Larch we use currently is from the nearby Angmering Park Estate. Larch is very durable as a result of the timber containing natural preservatives. Traditionally it is used as Larch Lap cladding and will turn grey/silver when left untreated.
CEDAR – Red western cedar has grown in popularity as a cladding material recently. If you choose this timber you will see why. It is fantastic to work with and has a wonderful smell. The wood is natively from the America’s, however it is grown all across the UK and our timber is grown locally. Over time the cladding change colour from a warm red to a Silvery grey.
DOUGLAS FIR – Known as the King of pines throughout the timber industry. This Fir tree is famous for often being knot free and for its toughness and durability. The timber often has a dark stripe which is very pleasing to the eye. Over time the cladding changes colour the least of all the products that we stock.
