Lumpwood Charcoal bursting with flavour

Our charcoal is made locally from coppiced woodlands in West Sussex. Ring kilns are used to burn hardwoods like Sweet Chestnut, Hazel and Oak. This process removes all the moisture from the wood leaving the carbon.

We think that our lumpwood charcoal is hard to beat when it comes to the flavour it gives to your food when cooked. It is easy to light and should be ready to cook on in around 20 minutes.
